Colin was excited to go swimming in our friends small swimming pool. He was even more impressed when he found out it has bubbles!

Laura won the title of Jr Jr Honor Kamper!
Laura won the title of Jr Jr Honor Kamper at Kamp this term at Kamp. This recognizes her as the single person in her age group (10 and under) who best represents the giving of self, camp spirit, and fair treatment of others that is promoted at the camp.
Here she is with the Sr Honor Kamper for the term.
Camp pick up activities
On Friday I arrived at camp to pick up Laura. She showed me her gymnastics, riding, and arts and crafts.
Following a long shower for her at my hotel and supper out together I was treated to the sing song and blanket award ceremony (best team at camp). Lauras team didn’t win this year.
She also had the honor of being a big sister for another girl in her tribe/team. Yet she was still young enough to have a big sister assigned to her too. They had a little team family of three sisters.

Canada Day!
Supper and dinosaur discussion
Colin and I took it easy yesterday for supper and went out for pizza. He brought one of his dinosaur encyclopedias and taught me a lot.

Colin passed his level at swimming and Laura had a great week at camp
Colin passed all the requirements for his current swimming level including getting rings off the bottom of the pool and swimming across flippping from front to back 3 times. He’s proud of the accomplishment and excited for the next level.

Meanwhile we got a letter from Laura today listing her accomplishments from the past week including getting up on waterskis, going for her first trail ride on the horse, and hitting a bullseye at archery. I don’t know if she’ll ever want to come home!
