After the school concert the junior rock band took over

The kids were REALLY excited to be decorating the tree. It was loads of fun.

Laura and Grandmother did a couple of chemistry experiments. In this one, the carbon dioxide from her breath made the water/indicator turn blue.

Laura had a mini recital tonight for her Jazz class. Unfortunately the other 2 girls in the class were on vacation already, so it was a small recital. That didn’t reduce her enthusiasm at all!

Cliff was very pleased to find his Grandfather’s name – Clifford Hind Trend – on the Naval Memorial in Portsmouth. Lieutenant Trend was killed in 1942 while serving in the war.

After walking along the sea wall and checking out some of the other local sights and landmarks, Duck insisted we go to the pub. Thankfully, there were no darts in this pub.

I caught the duck sneaking onto the train with us. He seemed to enjoy the trip through the English countryside.

I wandered around London this afternoon and I got to see Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower),

And Batman!

Is there anything better than a big box to play in? Pop goes the weasel!
