Colin made 2 monster trucks all by himself, including chalk decorations on the outside and cutting the flaps off the boxes.
Laura and Colin raced them until they broke down. Laura was the mechanic. I think she is slid under and doing an oil change in the last picture.
These two kids are hilarious. They went to play on the path and walked back and forth just like this for 20min discussing life, what to play, and how hard time travel may be, among other topics. 20min, many laps back and forth.
Not the most successful baking project if ranked by looks. Complete success if ranked by taste! Yummy!

Somehow Colin is into Star Wars. We stopped into a friends and he sorted the figures into their respective camps and smashed them into each other. I think the Imperial forces won today.
It was a great, sunny, warm afternoon, so we released our butterflies. 14 Painted Lady butterflies are off to survive in the wild. Good luck little butterflies!

MacDougall has been feeling a little off for the past 2 days and hasn’t wanted to be sitting close to me. I think he’s feeling better today. Back to his own “lapdog” self.
