Laura had her music recital tonight. She has practiced hard and played very well. We are very proud of all the effort she has put into this!

With all the clean up and changes going on at the house Colin has been spending some time playing at his friends house. 

We went to a baseball game as part of our Mothers Day. 

Fire ants built a nest in our Adirondack chair, so it was time for it to be dismantled and go.  Colin was eager to help with the drilling.

Colin finished his kiwicrate this month. We got to do Jellyfish racing!  Yay ratchets! 

Who wouldn’t like to receive a Do-it-Yourself trebuchet kit in the mail?

This Tuesday Laura and I joined Sarah in Dallas to tour potential  schools. 

Colin got to stay with his best friend Zachary for Monday night and all day Tuesday. He was SO excited. 

Laura is growing up.  She now has an email address to talk with family and friends. 

Someone is completely unimpressed with the amount of time I’ve been spending on the computer and phone this week, especially when it’s time for a walk. 

Colin was fairly specific about his cake this year. He also kept changing and adding to the design right up to the day of the party. 

It’s a monster truck, being driven by his favorite monster truck (Dragon). The truck’s name is MoonStern and it has a rocket on the top so it can fly to the moon. It had to be blue. And it’s doing a wheelie over a pile of dirt, of course. 

He loved it!
