We spent our last day in San Francisco walking along the piers, at the Aquarium, watching the sealions, and finishing at Fishermans Wharf for ice cream. 

It was a day of different vehicles.  We took a cable car from Union Square up the hill.

Then we went to the cable car museum and checked out the actual cables that had pulled us up the hill!

We took a bus from there to the Ferry Terminal and went to Miette, a bakery that have wanted to visit for years.
Then Colin and I took a tram to the doctor so he could get some antibiotics for his strep throat (argh!).  Laura and Daddy took a separate tram later on.

We spent yesterday morning at the park across from our hotel. The fountain is a memorial to Dr Martin Luther King Jr.

Our vacation started in Dallas with brunch on Friday morning with Katie and baby Claire. It was so nice of them to visit with us. 

Our first stop in San Francisco, after a late arrival and a sleep, was Mel’s Drive in. We even got to play “Ghostbusters” on the jukebox!

On Sunday we did an escape room with friends. We solved all the clues and escaped in under 50min. 

Grandpa and Laura have been busy making a range/oven, tables, and counters for Katie’s bakery (which was built 2yrs ago)

The kitchen is ready for use!  Colin and Sarah baked Pokémon cookies yesterday as the first cookies to come from the new kitchen. 

After visiting the trains we took Grandpa to see the Fortworth Historical Stockyards. The kids did the Human Maze, and then we went to the candy store (I think Grandpa enjoyed that part!) before watching the daily cattle drive.
