Colin got to share his birthday in a celebration at school. 

Colin was very pleased with his birthday gift from Godparents Colin and Katie!

Sarah had another birthday today (she seems to have one once a year). 

The kids had fun showing her the new sewing/craft (and sometimes guest) room we put together for her, and sharing the presents they selected for her. 

MacDougall is recovering from his spring break trip to the dog Camp. 

We started the day by getting donuts at one of the best donut shops in America.  They were delicious (and huge)!  Then we went to the Science Centre, enjoyed some time outside, and rode on the 1910 carousel and the miniature train.

We took an easy day on Friday, walked along the paths by the bay, played some frisbee and catch with new friends, and hung out at the playground close to the hotel. We also spent some time in the hotel pool. 

The kids had a great day at Legoland California. It was overcast and cool in the morning and the crowds didn’t get too big all day. 

We looked at LEGO statues, visited some of our favorite friends and did loads of rides from coasters to boats and driving.

We spent Wednesday at the zoo.

On Tuesday we headed off to San Diego and celebrated Colin’s 6th birthday with playing in the muck on the beach and then going out for sushi. 

Laura was excited to be chosen to help out with a juggling street performance. The video below is the second, and successful, attempt at the trick. In the first try the diablo spinner wasn’t caught after Laura flicked it over her head.
