Colin received a Pokémon cookbook for his birthday.  We made chocolate Unown cookies in the weekend.

1370 miles in 5 days and visited Roswell NM and Carlsbad Caverns National Park. I had a wonderful ride! 

Some toys, like blocks and dinky cars, never get old.

I’m off on my bike for a trip to Roswell NM. 345 miles on day 1 got me to Lubbock TX. And through lots of bugs. 

Laura and I took a bunch of selfies on vacation.

Laura composed a piece of music that was chosen to represent Dallas at the state competition. Today was the recital for the Dallas winners, and we also learned she received an Honourable Mention at the State level!

Colin made the swing into a slingshot with a bungee cord. Only problem was the projectiles kept hitting the swing seat. Laura was willing to help problem solve. 

Colin got a bouncy ball for his birthday. It’s his favorite mode of locomotion around the house right now.

As a surprise to Colin’s friend Zachary I packed up the kids and went to Houston yesterday to go to his birthday party. 

Laur got to play with friends too and I got to visit with friends as well. It was a good 20hrs visiting friends.
