Cliff has removed some walls.  Colin has been having a blast “mining” a remaining piece of drywall with a tiny pry bar.

It kept him entertained long enough for Cliff to get the rest of the work done!

Colin loved his KiwiCrate this month and even made himself into a robot!

The kids get crates with activities in them to build and play with. 

Laura made an art spinner with a motor and moving parts. These are some of her art work. 

Colin got a robot and coding set. This is his robot, Wi-Fi, that he made. She was hungry and needed to have nuts and bolts for a snack. 

Looks like Laura got hold of my phone last week. 

The kids and I went adventuring to find a new camping spot. We stuck with a Texas State Park and went to Lake Ray Roberts. 

It is a lovely park, big but with lots of sites, all well maintained.  There’s a big playground, large beach and swimming area, and lots of concrete trails for bikes. 

We had a good time if only for one night. 
It was a walk in site. Different for us as we usually have used sites that we can back the car right into. 
Not a lot of sites with shade left by the time we got there, but we found one tree and ate lunch under it.

Laura went to a birthday party.  She particularly enjoyed the blue ring pop.

It was a lovely day this past Sunday so we hit the wheels at the park. Great day!

Neighborhood party here this afternoon.  The kids came out from the bounce houses just long enough for face painting.

Laura and I went shopping for summer athletic and swim clothes and Colin headed out with Sarah to get his hair colored. 

I think we have 2 happy (and way too grown up) kids!
