Laura had a whole zoo (well 6) of animals come to the house as a surprise for her birthday party.

She liked them all but thinks the tenrec was probably her favorite.

There was also stick bugs, a tegue lizard, a frog, a chinchilla, and an owl monkey.

Somebody had to supervise.

Why do boxes have such universal appeal?

Laura had a good birthday today. There were lots of cards from family, presents to open, and of course Sarah made a wonderful cake. 

Colin gave Laura a box of random Lego from the house Lego so that she could do an erosion study game with them. 

He was asked many times, over multiple days what he wanted to get for her, and even spent time thinking of her likes and interests. He came up with this idea on his own and wouldn’t be persuaded otherwise. 

Laura was extremely gracious, loving and accepting of his thoughtful and different gift. And they played with it this evening together.

It’s about a fennec fox that’s scared of a long cobra. Set in the Sahara desert. 

Done with sock puppets Colin made this evening. 

Everyone chipped in this weekend and helped clean the house.
