Nothing quite like playing in the surf on the beach – even if not appropriately attired for it.
Laura’s lower half is wrapped in a blanket, and Colin is wearing nothing but my sweater.

The school had a fun circus themed evening with bouncy houses, sausages in bread, and popcorn. Both kids wanted to be the lion for a photo.
Everyone had a fun evening.

Now that spring is here Summer uniforms are required for term 4.

A few fun things spotted on last week’s trip:
At Changi airport:
In a shopping mall:
Art for sale in a gallery:

A few snaps on the ferry from Kangaroo Island.
Colin made sure Hoppy had a good view.
Laura did not appreciate some of Cliff’s Dad jokes.
Laura got to open a birthday gift early. Her external reaction was not as exuberant as we might have expected, but she immediately went to text some friends, who all think she is super cool for getting to go to the concert.
Colin started into swimming lessons this week.

The last day of school this past term was also his teacher’s, Ms Begg, birthday. Colin wanted to make sure to get a photo with her after the end of the school day party.

The kids helped me take the top off the Jeep yesterday. We have installed a sunscreen over the top to keep the worst of the summer sun off us while driving.
The kids had fun helping and going for a drive with the top off.

Spotted on the old golf course while walking home from an appointment…
Tawny frogmouth (fast asleep)

Eastern rosellas:

Not great quality photos, but not bad for taken with a phone!
