Colin and I went for sushi together the night before picking up Laura.
The restaurant had inventive chopstick helpers, I remembered to ask for the sushi to be cut in half, and a good fortune to finish off the meal.

Colin and I spent a good bit of yesterday at the museum.
We had a great time looking at the paleontology hall, where he taught me a lot, and then more time in the Energy Hall where he learned about geology and drilling and pipeline pigging.
His favorite part was the animals carved out of gemstones.

We have been visiting playgrounds and Colin is sharing his climbing ability with me.

This day was all about Colin.
Time watching Tom and Gerry in the morning, to MacDonalds for lunch, Sealife Aquarium, a new Lego set, a visit to the Buckee Ball, and Olive Garden for supper. All Colin’s choices.

Colin has taken to swimming this year with gusto.
He is now able to swim across the pool by himself, which means he can use the diving boards and slides at the Woodlands pools!

Colin is getting to play this week with his best friend Zach.
Unfortunately Z is feeling under the weather this week so there is much more quiet play. It seems to be a good choice for everyone this week

Colin has enjoyed his week of Adventure Camp with friends, playing golf, tennis, and swimming.
When he would come home at the end of 6 hrs out in the 40C heat he would just want to get in the pool again.
It’s been a week of swimming. He’s happy!

Stayed with friends in Dallas for a week. Colin found rainbow squid hats. They have had them on constantly for the past 2 days. Even for bedtime.
Squid Twins!!

Our summer travel took us to Ontario for a week. Thankfully all the cousins in Ontario were able to meet in Ottawa.
