Settled in with a stack of books. Colin is happy at the library.

It was cold and windy and rainy, so I didn’t take many photos, but the camp-out at Colin’s school was a big success!
Cliff’s lime green tent stands out amidst a sea of brown and grey.
The hot-beverage stall did a brisk business. Colin was very pleased with his hot chocolate with marshmallows.
The year 6 students set up fundraising stalls for charity. This was a clever game where you had to toss a dollar coin. If it landed on the chocolate you got to keep it.
One of Colin’s friends gave him “Othello” for his birthday. We had fun playing with Laura was sailing and Cliff was setting up the school camp-out.

Laura was sailing today in the State School Sailing Regatta. The team did well, showed great teamwork and spirit, and had fun.

Sarah made a fantastic cake for Colin’s birthday party this weekend.
He and all his friends really enjoyed the Unicorn Pinata Cake. What could be better than a chocolate cake with strawberry butter cream icing between the layers and marshmallow fondant coating? Having lollies (candies) fall out of the middle of it of course!

Laura has been helping get items ready for Colin’s unicorn themed party. She is sticking gems onto horn for a ring toss game.

The kids and I went snorkeling again this Sunday. It was cool so we were only in the water for 30-40min but we did swim all the way out to HMVS Cerberus (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMVS_Cerberus)
You can see it between the kids from the dock.

One of the best parts of birthdays is getting to help bake the cakes!

Colin had a great birthday with homemade pizza, a candy bar cake, and lots of lovely presents from his family.
