Colin wanted to do a sewing project, too, so we have started on a little stuffed cat. so far we have made the ears and tail, and cut out one of the body pieces.

So very proud of this kid today. So much improvement in the 6 months since the last grading. He has shown such an increase in focus and control. It’s a well earned blue belt for Colin !

Laura has finished her sewing project. The pillowcase dress and leggings for her doll are complete!

Colin asked if he could write an information report on an animal, not for school, just because he wants to. As good parents we said he could.
He made up an animal, made up all the facts about it, then shared it in a presentation to us. Of course that’s what you do.

Colon made this for Laura while she was working on her sewing last week.

After successfully finishing up the bedding for her doll, Laura is now tackling a pillowcase dress and leggings – also for her doll.

Tell this girl you will buy her ONE book and you’ll be waiting a while. Her wish list is long!

It was a lovely day for a bicycle ride to St Kilda pier, which included a stop for ice cream before returning home.

Laura had her RAD Grade 5 performance awards exam today. She was a bit nervous while getting ready this morning but was feeling good afterward. She thinks it went really well.
