Colin is running for student council Treasurer and had his campaign manager over on the weekend to make posters.
A row boat gets a name
Our small home made boat finally made it out of storage for the first family trip.
Colin and Laura decided it should be called “The Green Heron”.
A little wordy
With Colin’s EEG last weekend he wasn’t allowed to do anything active or go outside, so we played a number of games. “A Little Wordy” is one of our favourites, and we usually call it the Wordy-Birdy game.

Sewing machine fun
After seeing a soft band to go around his EEG strap, Colin wanted to test various decorative stitches on the sewing machine.

More fun with dry ice!
Sarah’s monthly ice cream arrived and there was still some dry ice in the packaging. It’s always fun to play with!
Challenge complete!
I finished my Cabot Trail activity challenge last weekend and the medal arrived this weekend! I ran and cycled a combined 300 km – the length of the Cabot Trail – over a period of 9 weeks.

Headed to school
Senior school has a dress-up week this week and today was “Hogwarts” themed. The freshmen were assigned Hufflepuff, so I had a very happy Hufflepuff this morning.

The Game of Life
Always a classic.

Baking time
We had some soft bananas to use up, so we made banana chocolate chip muffins. Yum!

Family bike ride
We enjoyed a 10 km bike ride for Labour Day.
