Making whipped cream for dessert, and licking the beaters.

Eva was busy in the kitchen so Laura entertained Auntie Leyana and Uncle Jonathan with an Eye Spy book.

When I returned from the UK mid-week, I headed out to check the garden. Despite the heat, we are getting some success. I’ve been enjoying fresh tomatoes and peppers in my lunches. And I don’t even have to share!

Confession: I would rather have to share them. I’ve had enough alone time.

Laura and Colin went over to cousin Eva’s house to play in the wading pool and play with bubbles.

I got the VIP tour of the Anglican Cathedral of St John’s the Baptist.

We went to Leading Tickles to visit Mom/Granny’s beach. We all threw flowers in from the same spot we scattered ashes last year. There were also lots of icebergs very close to land.

I think I’m in trouble.

Managed to get them still for a very short while. Here are the best shots I got. It was very fun to get them all together for an evening.

While Cliff and the kids visit family, I have ridiculously busy weeks at work. After an exhausting week in London, I’m visiting Cliff’s family near Portsmouth. Today we went sailing on the Solent. It was perfect.
