I got to have 2 dates for lunch today. It was potluck at school. Colin took homemade macaroni and cheese and Laura took roasted Brussel sprouts.

We were sent this picture from Colin’s teacher. He is so proud of himself, building words.

Colin helped me take down the tent after it finally dried out.

The best part of Mommy and Daddy getting a new mattress is that the old one can be used as a trampoline!

Backyard tent time again. Laura is all gung-ho for a back yard sleep out, despite it being only 10c out tonight.

Since I missed posting for a couple of days I figured I should put a second post up today.
It’s been a quiet afternoon here with Laura fighting a fever and Colin fighting a stuffy nose. A game of Princess Yatzee is just what the doctor ordered.

We have been neglecting our poor birds just as the weather is getting colder. Time to clean and refill.

Our little girl turned 8 today! She really enjoyed her day and all the thoughtful gifts.
