I don’t know who does the weather forecasting here, but we could handle these kinds of thunderstorms just about any day! You can see they really put a damper on our fun.

We went to the Botanic Gardens today and enjoyed some beautiful flowers, some nice birds, and the blue iguanas. We cooled off with ice creams at the end of our walk.

We hung out at our condo today. In the morning, Cliff and Laura went snorkeling while Colin and I built a sand castle. In the afternoon it was Colin’s turn for a snorkel while Laura and I played in the pool. We had two kids who could barely stay awake for their burgers and shakes!

Both our kids seem to have no problem relaxing on a boat. Here we are on a tour to Stingray City. Yes, we all touched the stingrays and went snorkelling as well.

At long last, vacation is here. We flew to Grand Cayman today. The trip is much shorter from Houston than it is from St. John’s!

We have returned to the Turtle Nest Inn. The beach is just as nice as we remember, and the local fish shack makes food that is just as tasty as we remember.

I got to have 2 dates for lunch today. It was potluck at school. Colin took homemade macaroni and cheese and Laura took roasted Brussel sprouts.

We were sent this picture from Colin’s teacher. He is so proud of himself, building words.

Colin helped me take down the tent after it finally dried out.

The best part of Mommy and Daddy getting a new mattress is that the old one can be used as a trampoline!
