I got wind of a great milliner in North Houston, so yesterday dad and I went to check it out.
I’m not sure if I’m a hat man yet. Maybe when I turn 40?
Nothing like a fever of 105 to throw you off your game. We spent much of the day like this, then he slept for 4.5 hours and was much improved.
Laura helped Sarah make icing for the cake at supper tonight. Watching the temperature rise is a very important job.
We also had a wonderful visit with Ed. The conversations between Ed and John are always enlightening.
The kids got to play Wii games after supper. It requires intense concentration.
Laura got a new tool to help Grandpa!

Grandpa is in town for a visit so it is wood working time!
This past weekend Daddy took the kids to the local Touch a Truck event. There were examples of all sorts of mighty machines that the kids could get in and look at. Some of our favourites were the tractor, garbage truck, fire engine, giant tow truck and the helicopter that arrived while we were there.



This wasn’t what I thought would be the most exciting thing today, but it was!
Laura got a reply from the golfer she follows and is a huge fan of. She wrote to Stacy Lewis almost 6 months ago and Stacy wrote back!
