more fulsome post tomorrow.  Tonight’s post was interrupted by a girl who had just had a bad dream.

New stepping stones:



The cake – a purple dragon with wings who also breathes fire.



A room filled with bouncy castles/slides etc. A great way to end a rainy week / A great start to spring break. 





Some things never get old.  Today Colin was building trees then chopping them down.  Notice that the tree has a trunk at the base and leaves at the top.  It was not a quiet game.



Laura is making her birthday present for Colin.  The PJ pants are all done – tonight we will appliqué something on a t-shirt for the top.



The tree decal has arrived!  Laura and Daddy are working on it bit by bit.  We will post photos when it’s all done!



Colin is still a fan of chickens:



And the Cowboy H – who probably has an official name, but we don’t know it.



While Laura had fun on the big kid rides, Colin enjoyed the tamer ones.



He chose this seat independently; he wanted to ride in the black car.  Naturally, I had to take a photo:

We had a full day at the Houston Rodeo with rides food and games and animals. 











Everyone ends up with their squirmy pillow rolling over them some times right?  

Or

Everyone ends up with a kid rolling over their head at some stage of life. 









This one was taken a couple of weeks ago when the kids and I went shopping for birthday gifts for Cliff.  Each child got to choose a snack at the mall.  Laura chose pretzel bites, and Colin thoroughly enjoyed one chocolate truffle.



It is a one mile drive between our house and the school.
