Cliff had his shoes shined at the airport in Toronto. The kids were happy to climb up with him.
An early morning and a long day of travel really take it out of a boy. He’s excited to sleep in his own bed again, but couldn’t even wait that long. 
We went adventuring to Petrie Isoand today. Laura made a list of things she wanted to try and spot:
She got them all checked off except the blue jay and Cardinal. And instead she saw Baltimore orioles, Downy woodpeckers, cedar waxwings, yellow warblers, eastern kingbirds, and more. A beaver and two muskrats were also spotted!
The best part, though, was playing with mud and sticks and water.
