Heading off to check the mailbox.  

  
 Yes Colin is wearing a fleece bumblebee outfit. 

It takes Colin only seconds to make a new friend.  This morning at Laura’s swimming time he saw another little boy with toys and was off to play.  They had a great time together.  

 

We went to our first family ball game to see the Houston Astros win against the Texas Rangers. It was a fun game with home runs, lots of hits and a 10-0 score for the home team. Laura loves watching baseball. Colin enjoyed himself but got a little bored of the “watching” part after about 6 innings. 

We all had a good time. 

   
   

We’ve shown pictures of Laura’s hair in pretty buns for ballet. What we don’t show is the after hair when the bun comes out!

Colin finished a week long basketball camp and received a participation medal that he is very proud of. 

While he didn’t make a basket on his own all week, he did enjoy slam dunking the ball with the help of the coach, and got better at passing and dribbling. 

   
 

   
 

Act 3 of Sleeping Beauty done by 15 cast members (level 1-2 ballet) in 1 week is impressive.

We are so proud of how much Laura has learned and how hard she worked this week.

Laura is starring as Red Riding Hood for her dance camp production tomorrow. Costume fitting today. 

  

We are fully into summer weather with lots of sun and temperatures at 38C most days. The hot weather makes the ice cream taste even better! 

 

Colin was excited to start basketball camp today. I was excited to see that his group had kids the same size and skill level!  He had fun and is looking forward to tomorrow. 

   

 

Although not quite finished the painting, it was time to play with the the new Doll Bakery.
