A few pictures from last week’s sisterly trip to the UK.

   
    
   

It’s December 12th and the kids didn’t want to get dressed yet, so headed outside after breakfast to play. It’s 25C outside so we decided shoes and coats weren’t necessary. 

  

We got our Christmas tree up!  Decorating yet to come. 

The dog is confused about why there is a tree inside and isn’t sure if he’s allowed to play with the pieces that were trimmed off.  (If you look closely you can see the twig between his paws) 

    

My apologies to all those that actually live in a cold climate. 

Colin came out of the house yesterday and stated that it was cold out so he HAD to wear his hat. It had dropped to below 25C. 

  

We went out for supper last night with Rachel. It was great to get caught up with an old friend. 

  

Part of the fun of going to the Nutcracker is staying in a hotel overnight.  Cliff and Colin came for the hotel.  We all enjoyed swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool, even though it’s December!

Laura and I had our annual girls’ evening out to see the Nutcracker ballet.  The show was just as spectacular as ever.

Friends came over yesterday for lunch and an investigation of what’s inside a mattress. 

  

We had an impromptu gathering at the Children’s Museum with a couple of friends. 

Colin, Zachary, and Behen had a great time together and played with just about every toy in the hour they were there. 

  

Colin has decided to sound out his words now. It’s going to be a whole new world!
