I’m not sure this is a fair match-up, unless one team plans to distract their opponent with killer cuteness.   

 

Jim and Lucille often manage to find gifts that Colin and Laura enjoy a lot. 

Laura received a coin collection folder (coins not included, though she managed to rifle through a few peoples loose change), and Colin got a dinosaur book. Both are great hits. 

   
 

   
   

Jim and Lucile arrived safely for their spring visit. They brought crafts for the kids. Jim worked in the garage to help them build Bug Houses. 

  
  

I refused to read the story to him while I ate, so he read it to himself. 

We had Neil and Teresa visit for the weekend and went to an NBA game. It was Houston Rockets vs Toronto Raptors. The game was close with lots of exchange of the lead and a finish that went right to the wire. 

   
    
   

   
    
 

We left the kids with a babysitter last night and they made some hats, or helmets, or rockets, or something out of Colin’s crosses and straws building kit. 

   
 

After being upset at having to clean off his “painted nails” while camping, Colin got to have his toenails painted last weekend. 

   
 

Sarah had a birthday!  Her kids were really excited to get balloons, and decorations up and to get her some cool gifts. 

Laura gave her a coloring book that she could take with her on trips and Colin gave her swim goggles so she can come swimming with us in the summer. 

Someone also sent a pair of glasses for her that the kids thought were hilarious.
