Both Colin and Laura got to try the Van der Graaff generator at a birthday party of one of Colin’s school friends. 

Laura made lunch, then had to write a menu, set up a restaurant, and advertise to customers before we could eat. 

Sitting at a desk is not the most creative way to learn. Colin is more creative than that. 

We stopped at Soar! for some indoor fun blowing off some energy this evening.

Laura had a good time looking at her own cheek cells under a microscope at the Perot Museum.

We are one week into kitchen work and it’s going fairly well. No nasty surprises. The framing is done so we can start to see how it’s going to shape up.
