Happy Birthday Pancake! A toy, treats, and doggy ice cream after a play at the park with doggy friends.
This boy is very pleased with his new rashie and jammers.
It’s a good day to clean out the “lodge.” Get rid of the pollen and spiderwebs so Colin can hang out and read.
I have “graduated” to outdoor runs in physiotherapy. Still doing run/walk combos, but given it’s been a couple of months and the summer heat/humidity have arrived, it’s good to start slowly and build up. Colin has been accompanying me on some of them, too, so that we can do our Snoopy run once I’m all healed.
Here’s hoping it’s healing, anyway. Dry needling with electrical stimulation to try and fix the Achilles tendinosis. Also physiotherapy and not running for several weeks. I “graduated” to an outdoor run/walk for 20 minutes this week, after 2 months off running entirely.
I took Pancake to the park. She was so excited, running and jumping. Then we arrived and all she wanted to do was lie in the grass. Certainly no interest in playing or returning home.
Laura filled up all the feeders this morning – she made new hummingbird food, topped up the seeds, and replaced three suet blocks. Then we enjoyed a full day of backyard birds who were happy to come have a snack.
Final morning – went for a quick walk on the beach before packing up.
Checking out the rookery at High Island. Cliff’s hat in the background.
We are off to look for migrating birds – headed down to the Bolivar peninsula for a long weekend.
