Laura went to a birthday party.  She particularly enjoyed the blue ring pop.

It was a lovely day this past Sunday so we hit the wheels at the park. Great day!

Neighborhood party here this afternoon.  The kids came out from the bounce houses just long enough for face painting.

Laura and I went shopping for summer athletic and swim clothes and Colin headed out with Sarah to get his hair colored. 

I think we have 2 happy (and way too grown up) kids! 

Colin and I have taken to playing board games before bed. Backgammon and Checkers have been choices so far.  

At EarthDayTX there was a tree climbing station that the kids did. It was an hour of learning and then trying climbing a tree using ropes and harness. 

Laura chose the highest rope she could find and now wants tree climbing harness and rope for her birthday. 

Colin looked at the big tree and found the shortest rope and got a full 4 ft off the ground and loved it. No need to do that again. 

I realized we didn’t share any photos of Colin’s birthday party this year. 

He had a great day with friends over for an Arctic Explorers birthday party. 

While cutting down trees in the back yard the kids wanted to climb. It of course turned into a 20min game of owls until the baby was ready to leave the nest and I could cut the rest down. 

We went to EarthDayTX today. The kids did their part to help support the world.
