Colin asked for my phone to make a “how to build” movie. It turned out better than I expected. (Sorry for the camera falling over, we’ll get a better stand next time).

Dance video
As promised here are the videos of Laura dancing.
We also got results from her audition today and she has been accepted to attend the American Academy of Ballet summer program in NY.
Weekend of dance
Yesterday Laura earned the Gold standard in her Level 5 dance exam.

She also earned a scholarship to a summer dance intensive in NYC. Today she auditioned for the dance intensive.

She is highly unlikely to attend the session, but we thought auditioning would be a good experience.
It has been so fun to see how much her dancing has improved this year! I think Cliff has video to share tomorrow.
Fame?
It’s been a very strange week. I don’t think I ever could have predicted I would be on the cover of a Guyanese tabloid.

Laura golfing.
A couple of weekends ago we got out to TopGolf to hit a few balls.
Laura hasn’t lost her swing!

Colin’s science project.
Colin is seeing how far a car rolls on different surfaces.

Team Canada
Colin wanted red in his hair today so he can show his support for Canada during the Olympics.

Watching the Super Blue Blood moon
Laura and I got up early to see the lunar eclipse this week.

Colin gets an x-ray
Colin went in for some routine testing on his growth rate that included getting an x-ray of his hand.
The protective vest went all the way to the floor. He thought it was really cool to see the inside of his hand on the screen.
(The results showed that he is growing well and is perfectly Colin sized).

Science project part 2
Part of Lauras science project has now included what to do when your dog eats your homework!
