Colin was invited to a movie birthday party to watch The Grinch.
Its at a Children’s Cinema. Great plan! Quieter, halftime break, low chairs, and a slide!

Singapore airport has some lovely Christmas decorations up. I’m not sure one would ever find snowmen adjacent to tropical orchids in real life, though.

The kids and I went camping for 2 nights this week. It was scheduled for rain, but that doesn’t matter too much if you are out in the surf anyway!
We hiked 6km, played on boogie boards borrowed from neighbors, and have had a good time getting to know the new tent and a new favorite park.
Wilson’s Prometory is a great National Park.

Laura may be turning into a beach bum. She loves going to the beach.

Presentation Evening is the school concert and awards ceremony that every school does each year.
Colin sang with his class.
The kids got to sit with Santa and discuss Christmas wishes when at the party last Sunday.

It’s been a busy week finishing up the school year.
Laura had the Year 6 graduation dinner last night. It was wonderful to see how well the school accepts everyone and treats all graduates wonderfully regardless of how long they’ve been at the school, 4 months to 9 years.
Laura got her hair done, and did a couple of group numbers with her classmates. It was a fun evening.

We had the family Christmas party for work on Sunday. Face painting is always a hit. Laura wanted a butterfly, and Colin wanted a turquoise kitten with rainbow whiskers.

The last time Laura put on this dress it was about at her knees. Now it’s much higher.
Either I shrunk it (and all the rest of her clothes) in the wash, or she’s growing!

There are beautiful flowers at the hotel here in Delhi, including all sorts of pools filled with petals.
They make for beautiful spots of colour.
