Sushi for supper
I got ambitious a few nights ago and made sushi. Sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and some edamame. There wasn’t a scrap left by the end of the meal!

Proud Laura, part of the group
Laura got her club jacket for her dance studio. It fits well and she loves it.

Baking cookies
One of the friends in Colin’s class is moving away after this term. Colin baked cookies for the going away party this week.

Monthly ride to school
Yesterday Colin did his 4th monthly rise to school. It took about 1hr (10km) each way. His determination is amazing.

Sewing project for school.
And the sewing project is complete! L made a fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow, and pillowcase for her doll.

It was that sort of weekend.

Indoor camp out
Colin wanted to sleep in his play tent with all of his stuffy friends.
I don’t know if he’ll stay in there all night, but he happily settled in.

Off to the Park!
The kids have a day off today so we took the roller blades to the park. Colin managed 1.5km before walking the rest of the way home.

Cookies!
Laura stayed home alone while we ran a couple of errands this afternoon. When we arrived home, she was in the midst of baking cookies, which she had started because she was bored.
