Laura’s dance school is putting practice videos online for them. Tonight was musical theatre troupe practice.

Colin helped make the lasagne noodles for dinner the other night. Yum!

A game that is both entertaining and educational! Highly recommend. We’re playing North American version tonight and might try European expansion (one of my birthday gifts!) next time.

We will be looking for interesting things to do for the next while. Today we tried on online Harry Potter quiz/mystery game on the TV. It was disappointingly short. But the kids were excited to try it – Laura even put on her robes for the occasion. We’ll have to see if there are any better online HP activities.

Colin wanted a punching toy for his birthday. He has been enjoying it thoroughly.

It’s hard to tell, but this is Laura flying a kite on the beach on Sunday. It was a beautiful day, and perfect kite flying conditions!

Colin competed in his first triathalon this past weekend. It was hosted by Weet-Bix and is a non competitive chance for kids to TRY for the first time.

He completed all the legs and the transitions all by himself. He was so proud! (And a little cold). It was a well run event. There were 2700 kids involved in it, many for the first time.

We are so proud of all the training and hard work Colin put in.

Colin is learning how to play the viola. We had a parents’ night at the school last night where we learned about the instrumental program and the kids taught the grown-ups some basics.

MacDougall loves getting in the car to go anywhere. He hopped in today and sat waiting.

Colin is training for a kids tryathalon. We have been doing open water swimming to practice. He’s getting much stronger every week.
