Laura’s choice of game this evening – she is very good at Quiddler. Great-Grandmother would have loved to play with her, I’m sure.

I thought I was installing a swing set. Turns out it’s a pirate ship, big top circus, professional basketball stadium, and I’m sure many other things too. The best part is, it’s getting Colin out and moving.

Colin and I went for a run around the block on Sunday. 850 m in just under 5 minutes. After our water break and cool down walk, we took a selfie.

While we are not allowed to hang out on the beach, we can cycle from the house to the beach and back again. It’s turned into a favorite route.

I had a surprise while on a teleconference on Friday afternoon. I’ve had a cat come by and some birds, but I did not expect family members on the roof!

Colin did an art project for school this week. It was fun and messy.

Helping a friend in Dallas with a class project. We took Flat Stanley for a bicycle ride to the beach boxes and for a view of the city over the bay.

Monday was a lovely day for fort building.

Laura’s second baking “assignment” was pound cake. It turned out beautifully – moist and flavourful. She’s a natural!
