Was a good day for an afternoon ice cream. Thankfully we have a great supply at home.

The playgrounds aren’t open but if you keep social distancing you are allowed to us the grass areas.
We rode to the park this weekend and played catch, soccer, and rolled in the grass.

Ok. It was wet, raining, and windy but we needed some time outside. We biked 16km with a stop at the beach 1/2 way to stretch our legs. The kids loved chasing the sea foam and digging with their hands in the sand. It was so good for them!

Colin wrote this poem for school this past 2 weeks while learning about metaphors and similes. He had to send in a video to his teacher today.
The kids are getting used to at home learning. Colin is in his morning meeting doing show and tell with his class and Laura is already in a Physical Education class.

MacDougall is enjoying having everyone at home with him. He’ll happily curl up next to you or flake out with you on the floor.

Colin wanted to get some movement in before starting school today so he got out the golf clubs.

Laura’s third week of “baking basics” involved a rhubarb-apple crumble pie. It took her a long time and she learned a lot! And it’s delicious! her very first pie is a success.

Colin had a pretty startling crib tonight – and look at the peg positions! We were red.
