I went upstairs looking for Colin so we could get set up for remote school for the day. He answered from the corner that he was doing some reading time before school. Yes, there is a book in there with him. No, I didn’t post the photo upside down.

There’s always something to work on. Laura is refinishing and repairing the Deacons Bench from the front hall and Colin is putting a layer of paint on his dragon.

Perhaps you would enjoy this video of an echidna walking. Taken last week on Raymond Island.

Took kids fishing today. Only caught one little Mullet (threw it back) but that was 50% of what was caught by everyone on the pier in the 2hrs we were there!
Will have to try again.

We are staying at a hotel for a few nights to get away from home and see another part of Victoria. There is a flock of Corellas that roost in the tree outside the room. They arrive at 5:30pm and leave at 6:00am. Thankfully they’re mostly quiet through the night!
What, is this not how you get comfortable to read a book?

This boy knows how to enjoy the simple things in life!

I forgot to take photos of Laura until she reached the sprinkling stage. Cake is a success!
