Every spare moment has been spent reading the new Nevermoor book. She received it Wednesday evening and finished it Saturday afternoon, despite school and dance interfering.

Every spare moment has been spent reading the new Nevermoor book. She received it Wednesday evening and finished it Saturday afternoon, despite school and dance interfering.

This grown up 14-year-old doesn’t want to pose for photos as often as her brother does, but she indulges is in her birthday! It’s hard to believe it’s been 14 years since she entered the world.


Colin wanted to go for a bike ride to his favourite hot chocolate spot, about 8 km up the beach. It was such a glorious day, the paths were quite crowded, but we had a great ride. He also got some climbing and jumping in while I finished my tea.



Colin requested tonight’s meal and acted as sous-chef for the preparation! It was a tasty meal!

Colin is helping refurbish a toy box.


The lest control company were spraying today, so we all had to leave the house for several hours. Luckily it was a gorgeous day to head to the beach!


It was time to bust out the Hallowe’en cookie cutters.



There were lots of birds and babies at the park on Saturday. Colin is checking out the Magpie-Lark nest.


We got out for a walk today with some friends. Saw a fox, some great birds, and this fantastic waterfall.

Sometimes this kid is just too cool for words.
