We went to a lovely, intimate performance last night, sitting outdoors by Albert Lake. The string quartet performed selections from Handel’s water music and royal fireworks, and some Bach selections (Air on a G string, some Brandenburg concertos).
It was a fantastic evening! I’ve never sat close enough to follow along on the musicians sheet music before!

It turns out koalas are super soft. Who knew?

Rather than one big playground, there are a whole bunch of smaller, different playgrounds spread along the foreshore. This one was particularly good for climbing.

On Tuesday we went to Tropical Fruit World, one of the largest fruit farms in the world. We sampled a wide variety of fruit, saw lots of interesting plants, and brought home some tasty snacks.

Ice cream after dinner on our day of arrival in Coolangatta.

Not much better than starting into new books!

We are all tired and happy.
