The first gift Colin opened this Christmas was a new hooded sweater. He spent the rest of the morning running around like a penguin shouting “me a penguie!”

It’s a beautiful day here in the Woodlands. It was a great morning to play basketball.
A new year
In an effort to be more connected to our many family and friends far away, I’ve decided to start a low-effort blog. My goal is to post one snapshot every day, just showing part of our lives. Sometimes there will be commentary, sometimes not. Some days will surely be more exciting than others.
It won’t always be a picture of the kids, and I probably won’t be successful in getting something up every single day, but I really miss being involved in people’s day-to-day lives. When we do catch up over the phone or email we only touch on the big stuff, and I miss hearing about the little stuff. Maybe you do, too, so this is where you can come to learn about the little stuff.
Hopefully Cliff will help out, too, otherwise for a few weeks in the summer you’ll get a bunch of snapshots of my office. I hope you enjoy it!
