Laura is modeling this year’s United Way Wlmen Who Rock merchandise.

Well, she is wearing it, at least, and reluctantly agreed I could take a photo. She reports the hoodie is lovely and fuzzy.
Colin is allowed to wear a Valentine-themed shirt instead of uniform in Friday. So I made him a shirt out of fabric he chose from my stash.

Pancake thought it very nice of us to cook ribs for supper. She’s even sitting very nicely waiting for them.

To keep the dog active and keep Colin outside on a lovely, but cold, day we connected a squirrel toy to the fishing rod and cast it for Pancake to chase.
It was fun for everyone until the dog chewed the fishing line. Dog wins this round.

I braved a solo boat trip before the weather got cold this week. I remembered to take my good camera with me and snapped a few photos of birds. Female Belted Kingfisher, Male and Female Bluebirds, and a Goldeneye. There were also a bunch of pelican hanging out with the cormorants on the bank.

Kids got to the little books store to browse and pick up new books.

I took the new canoe out with a friend this morning. It was 2-5C and a very light breeze. A beautiful day to explore some areas that are quiet.

It’s a fine day for puzzling.
