I took Pancake to the park. She was so excited, running and jumping. Then we arrived and all she wanted to do was lie in the grass. Certainly no interest in playing or returning home.

Laura filled up all the feeders this morning – she made new hummingbird food, topped up the seeds, and replaced three suet blocks. Then we enjoyed a full day of backyard birds who were happy to come have a snack.


Final morning – went for a quick walk on the beach before packing up.

We are off to look for migrating birds – headed down to the Bolivar peninsula for a long weekend.

Laura braided her hair while wet, then slept on it while it dries in braids. It ended up quite large.

He was laughing at how far off scale Saturn’s rings were.
