Within 10 minutes of arriving at Grandmother & Grampy’s house, Colin was checking out old favourite toys.

When water starts coming through the walls, you need to figure it out ASAP. Not sure we ever anticipated rooftop leaf blower use.






Laura accidentally dropped her phone on the weekend and the screen stopped working completely. She decided to save money and replace the screen herself. She did a fantastic job and had the new screen in and working in about an hour.

It’s a good day to clean out the “lodge.” Get rid of the pollen and spiderwebs so Colin can hang out and read.


I have “graduated” to outdoor runs in physiotherapy. Still doing run/walk combos, but given it’s been a couple of months and the summer heat/humidity have arrived, it’s good to start slowly and build up. Colin has been accompanying me on some of them, too, so that we can do our Snoopy run once I’m all healed.


Here’s hoping it’s healing, anyway. Dry needling with electrical stimulation to try and fix the Achilles tendinosis. Also physiotherapy and not running for several weeks. I “graduated” to an outdoor run/walk for 20 minutes this week, after 2 months off running entirely.
