Hello. day 44 of our road trip was another travel day. we started at Jordan’s house, and i hung out there for about half of the morning. i played quite a bit of Fisher Cat, and we caught some really funny new fish. once we had to go, i didn’t want to leave at all but we had to go. we said goodbye, and i remembered that we can still text each other. once we got going, we made very good time. we decided to visit the Hopewell Rocks. the Hopewell rocks are some very amazing rock formations that are naturally formed and look really cool. we walked down to them from the welcome center, and it was a long walk. thankfully, the scenery was awesome. i should share some facts about the Hopewell Rocks. the Hopewell Rocks are in Canada, specifically on the shore/ bottom of the bay of Fundy. the Bay of Fundy has some of the biggest tides in the world, and the rocks are sized so that when the tide is low, people can walk underneath the arches, and when it’s high, people can kayak around the top of it without having to even look up to see it. the hopewell rocks are some of the coolest spots to visit, no matter what the tide is. if you are visiting New Brunswick, definitely check them out. once we left the rocks, we drove in the rain for a while. after a bit, we arrived at the US border. we are now back in the US, and shouldn’t have more than a week until we get back home! after we got to the campsite, the rain had cleared up and we got the trailer up and ready before going to bed. that’s all for now. Hello! day 43 of our road trip was very fun and i wish i could have more days like it. the day was spent at Jordan’s house! i woke up at a fairly good time. i had a little breakfast, got dressed, and went literally up to the house. the house is on a level up from the ground, so i had to go up some stairs. (haha) once i came up, Jordan was already awake, and we played for a while. we had fun playing Merge Tactics, Fisher Cat, and some games on my Switch. we played for a while, and then Jordan’s mom came over and told us to finish up soon, and we did. we chose a really cool board game from Jordan’s game cupboard, called Rubik’s Race. it is a game by the same company as the Rubik’s cube, and the game has a similar premise. two players race to copy a pattern of squares in a 3×3 cube scrambler. the cubes were colored on each side, and each player has 4 squares of each of the 6 colors. the board is 5×5 on each side, and there is one open space throughout the game. the cubes are scrambled, and the race is on! we decided that rotation didn’t matter as much in the harder challenges. there was also another version of play, where each player has all of the squares of 3 colors and they have t make a pattern with them. the game is really fun, and i can’t really recommend it since i don’t know what it’s sold at. we then played a game called Labyrinth, where you race to find the treasures in a maze, but you move the maze before you move your character. it will take a lot longer to explain, so i’ll move on. once we had wrapped up our games, we had a short break where i discovered a collection of “Mega Construx” which is like another brand of LEGO. it’s not actually LEGO, but it is similar and has some pieces that Lego doesn’t and the opposite is also true. the collection was of figures of Pokemon! the one i liked the most, and found the most accurate, was one called Abra. Abra is one of the smartest named Pokemon, and it is very cute. it is smartly named because its evolutions (where a Pokemon becomes another one after a condition is fulfilled) go: 1. Abra 2. Kadabra 3. Alakazam. if you look at them, it sounds like a magic spell! Abra is one of a few Pokemon that is perpetually asleep. its eyes are always closed, and i enjoyed positioning the Abra figure how it’s positioned in the game. the Abra was a very fun thing to play with. after we had lunch, Jordan’s mom was going to a thrift store to get some stuff. a thrift store is a second-hand store. Jordan showed me some of their favorite places to look for strange stuff. they explained that there was often some very interesting things because of some of the stuff that people donate. we found some interesting stuff, but not anything super weird. once we got back, we did a similar thing to what we did in the morning, and we did that until i had to get read for bed. that’s all for now. Hello. day 42 of our road trip started very tiredly. we were on the boat when we got up, and it was very early on when we got up. i was very tired, but once we got off the ship we weren’t as tired. the day had plenty of driving in it. the drive was taking us to my friend Jordan’s house again. (see day 10) we decided that we were going to go on the Cabot trail. the Cabot trail is a very long trail that was named after John Cabot, an explorer who had found Newfoundland and is believed to be where he had landed and explored. it is widely considered the most scenic trail in North America. we didn’t get even close to most of the way, since we realized that it would add multiple hours to our trip. we then visited a very nice cafe called the Clucking Hen to have some breakfast. they served a lot of good food, and some amazing and very full breakfasts. if for some reason you find yourself nearby, definitely try to have breakfast there. once we got aways farther down the road, we kept listening to the second book in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series, Restaurant at the End of the Universe. we had started it a while ago, and we finished it a little while before we arrived at Jordan’s house, and it was hilarious. it wasn’t as ridiculous as the first one, but it had more hilarious storytelling. by the time we arrived, i was surprisingly not tired for the fact that i woke up very early. we played for the whole time once we arrived, and we are extremely good friends now. we both love puzzles, Pokemon, D&D, LEGO, and various other things. we played a lot on their iPad, since they had two games that i liked, and they liked them too. the first was called Fisher Cat, where you play as a cat who is a fisher, and you go to various locations aiming to spear fish with your harpoon. the fish vary from things like sharks and tuna, to apple trout, zombie fish, water and fire fish. in one area that only occasionally pops up, there is stuff like bowling pin fish, fish in cars, shuttlecock fish, and various other hilarious stuff. the other was called Merge Tactics, and was a game where you used a large number of different blocks to fend off enemy attacks. you can merge blocks with the same number to make one block with the next number up. the game sequence is a bit confusing, but was not very complex. it takes a while to explain. one of the blocks we found, but didn’t get, was actually Fisher Cat! he was also a very powerful block, so it was kind of unfortunate we couldn’t get him. we played for a while, and then we had to go. i said goodbye to them, and we went to bed. however, i was still going to be there the next day! that’s all for now. Hello! the 41st day of our road trip was the first long driving day we’ve had in a long time. it started off with us getting up in the trailer and having one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a while. once we got going, we got ready to go. the next thing we did was head up to the home where Grandpa was staying. we visited his old house first, to grab some books that he had wanted. we stayed for a little while, and when we eventually had to go i was a bit sad sincei was enjoying myself a lot. we left, and went up to Charley and Shelby’s house for the last time this trip. we really just hung around and talked for a while. once we had to go, we packed up the last of our stuff and went out for the longest bit of driving in a week! once we got on the drive, it was quite fun. i was honestly a bit relieved since Charley and Shelby had started to argue as much as they normally did, and i was not wanting to be a mediator. on the drive, the clouds felt like they were acting wierdly. the first thing i really noticed was that we were above some of the lower ones. the second thing was that there was a thick fog that we passed through in about five minutes from entering. then i noticed that all of the clouds had been very fancy and puffy. it was. very interesting day. our destination was the ferry terminal, and we were also going to be sleeping on the ferry. on the way, i decided to pull up one of my slightly older games for my Switch, and i got quite a bit of progress! i also hatched a Riolu, which i immediateley named Mish mash. i caught a Riolu in my other one, and also named it Mish mash. that was before yesterday. like months before. anyway, we arrived, and we had quite a bit of time to spend. the details get really boring after this, so i guess… that’s all for now. Hello. yesterday was an interesting day. it was the day of charley’s birthday party, and i was going too. the morning actually started out fairly well; i got up, had unfortunately little breakfast, got dressed, and went upstairs to say hi to Charley and Shelby. we played the normal stuff that morning, but when we went outside, we only had a little time before we had to go to Charley’s party! it was a pool party, so we changed into our swimsuits and, after a few minutes, went to the pool. once we got there, we found out that the time had been a bit mixed up and was now a 1 1/2-hour to 2-hour party. that was definiteley a good thing, so we went in! the pool water wasn’t very cold, so it was the perfect tempurature for a pool party. i jumped in, which i do not usually do. the party was mainly just alternating between jumping, swimming around, and playing with the floaties. the party had little points of interest. once we got back, which happened after Charley and Shelby had, i went out to check on the backyard to find out that all of Charley’s friends from the party were also there. i was a bit confused at first, but i just stayed inside for a while. i came out a little while later to play a bit, and i did. i was not feeling the best, since i had a headache for some reason, but the main small problem i had was… everyone else was younger than me! it seems like in a lot of shows or movies have the younger people wanting to be the oldest, but it is really tiring. the whole time, at least one person wanted to play with me, and i was only up to it, like, 37.4% of the time. i eventually went inside for almost the rest of the time, but i came in mainly due to my headache. it was really hurting a lot at that point, so i had a lie down on the couch for a while. thankfully, nobody except for Shelby and sometimes Charley came inside. i eventually came outside again to get some food, and i had a hot dog. after we had all had our food, which took a long time due to som of the younger ones’ energy levels, we had some cake. the icing was really sweet, and i could only finish 3/4 of my slice. after a while, i went inside for the remainder, and eventually Charley and Shelby’s friends left. after that, i spent most of my time teaching Charley some special building techniques in Minecraft. after that, me and daddy left for the last time this trip, and that’s all. Hello. Day 39 of our road trip was somewhat eventful. I slept in late, and i had an okay breakfast. then, me and daddy went up to Grandpa’s old house together, and Daddy was packing up everything. i just stayed in a room and played on my Switch. after an hour or so of that, we went up and got Grandpa to have lunch with him. we got sandwiches from Subway, and i had a really good one with a huge thick piece of Mozzarella in it. we stayed in the park where we ate for a little while, and we found a big statue of a slamon, so we took a picture of ourselves with it. we then went and dropped Grandpa back off at his home, and then we went to Charley and Shelby’s house to play for a bit. there wasn’t much notable about that day. that’s all for now. Hello again! day 38 of our road trip was somewhat eventful. the day started when me and daddy got up in the trailer. we got dressed, had some breakfast, and cleaned u the trailer a bit. we got going once daddy had gone. daddy went up to Grandpa’s old house to finish cleaning up some of the last things still there. I stayed in the trailer and wrote my blog for a little while, but then i got distracted and i went inside. most of my morning was spent playing on Charley’s DS again. i made some good progress, and a little while after Charley and Shelby from their friends’ Logan and Sophia’s house we went down to a store nearby and got slushies! the slushy i got was flavored like Dragon fruit. it was very sweet, and i had to stir it every now and then to stop me from just drinking flavoring and then ice. after we got home, i played on the DS a bit longer, then we went outside. i bounced on the trampoline for a while. afte a little while, i was getting bored, but daddy came back and we went out for supper. we went down to a place that had some very nice looking things on the meu, and we ate a lot. there was so much good food that in had trouble eating all of it! once we left there, we went down to a salmon ladder, which is a special set of blocks, kind of like stairs, which helps fish like salmon get around manmade blockades like dams to get to their breeding grounds. it was really cool to see all the salmon trying to get up the ladder, even if they don’t always succeed. after we finally left there, we went back to the house and then went to bed in the trailer again. that’s all for now. Hello! i realized that I put day 36 out as day 35. so, this is what actually happened on day 35. we got up at Grandpa’s old house, and we were packing up everything there. the house is going to be sold, but we aren’t sure what is going to happen otherwise. we started packing up after all of us got up and ate something, and I was going to be a bit tired for that. I was packing up a bunch of stuff in the tv room. i packed up a bunch of CDs and also brought out some little thingamabobs that were on the shelves. as i was looking through and packing up the VHS tapes that were also there, we took a short ice cream break. then I started packing up the CDs. one of them was part of a game for an old computer. I can’t remember what it was called. Daddy explained to me that 1,000 of those discs that the game was on would have less memory than a single iphone. i wasn’t actually that surprised, but it was kind of funny. onc i packed those up, i started packing up some DVDs. most of the day was just packing and sometimes reading.there isn’t much else to say really. i guess that’s all for now. Hello again. I figured out that i will have around 50 posts, but not do day 50. maybe I’ll write a blog post at the end of the trip. anyway, day 36 was a bit tiring because i didn’t sleep well at all. however, i am full of energy again! once we got up, we all played some games on our iPads and i played on Charley’s old DS. I have been playing on that DS since spring break, whenever we came to their house. I have been playing one game, called Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story. the game is actually a combonation of platformer, puzzle game, and turn-based combat. it’s a really cool. if for any reason you have a DS, some spare money, and a second hand games store nearby, you should be able to find a copy of it, so you should really check it out. after a while of that, we stopped (around noon) and played outside for almost the rest of the day. we played on the trampoline, the swings, and Charley and Shelby went in the pool for a little bit but I didn’t want to go in. their pool always feels cold to me. after a while of outside time, we finally went back inside, and then we had supper. there wasn’t much else to say, but I realizetha I hadn’t said that Chaley had opened her presents from yesterday! that was supposed to go in the last day, but i should put them in here. Charley got a phone, some Robux (for a game called Roblox), and a special bracelet maker. there was a couple other things, but I can’t remember them. that’s all for now. Hello! sorry I’m posting late again. the days have been getting shorter and shorter. I’ve had less time to write since we got back to Grand Falls, so I’m catching up again. yesterday started in my Grandpa’s old house again, and then we went to Charley and Shelby’s house. I was sleeping over that night! I was staying the whole day. we started with playing on our games again. then, we went outside to swim for a while. it was Charley’s birthday, but she had gone to basketball camp. me and Shelby were swimming and she said that she had never seen me being so excited in the water. it was really fun to be able to play and splash through the water for so long. after a while of that, we took a short break and then went on the trampoline for a while. we played there for a long time. once we were done there, which took a while, we had some supper. since it was Charley’s birthday, she chose to order some MacDonalds for supper. we had supper, and then we went and watched some TV for a while. after a little while of that, we went to sleep. I took a very long time for me to sleep. pretty late on, i saw a creeoy shadow, and i was a bit scared. then, their cat Butterscotch came over and revealed that SHE was the mysterious shadow! i eventually did sleep, and that was the whole day. i don’t have any photos of Day 35, so that’s all for now.
