Day 14 of our road trip

Hello. Day 14 was interesting. we went out to Halifax. we drove there, and the drive had little notable to see. once we got there, there was a lot to see! we started by checking out the Cable Wharf, which is an important dock in Halifax. the Cable Wharf is where the first telegraph cable to go from North America to Europe underwater was started to be laid down. it was interesting to read about the cable, and see what it looked like, and learn about the cable in general. after that we checked out a store called Cows, that had a variety of cow themed merchandise. it looked like it was originally an ice cream store, and it still sold ice cream, but it was mainly cow themed clothing and items. there were a lot of really good cow puns, but they wouldn’t make much sense without the pictures. once we were done there, we went to have lunch. we just stopped at a food court to find something to eat, instead of going to anywhere special. after lunch, we went to Freak Lunchbox, an amazing candy store. we all got some candy there, and it was awesome. the ceiling was decorated with candy boxes and stuff, and was really cool to see. once we left Freak Lunchbox, we walked down to another store close to where we started, called Peace by Chocolate. Peace by Chocolate has some really, REALLY cool chocolate bars. the wrappers were decorated, not the chocolate, but it was cool anyway. we got a bit of chocolate for ourselves, and might have gotten a bar or four for friends back home. the bars in Peace by Chocolate have specialized things printed on them, like “welcome to Canada” or the word “friend” in five different languages. there was a selection of bars all printed with the pride flag. there were at least 4 different types of pride flag on them, and I liked every one of them. once we had come home (still nothing notable on the way back), we just relaxed and had fun. very little interesting happened after that, so this is the end of this post. bye! -Colin
