Laura has taken fewer dance classes this term during lockdown. It has enabled her to online visit with friends more and to sit and relax more. Given the extra stress of doing classes online, the extra downtime is working well for her.

As I’m getting back into the LEGO (it’s a coping mechanism for me during lockdown) I stumbled across this gem of a photo from almost 7 years ago.

I was sanding the finish off the bench in the garage and Colin came to show me something. Then walked around me to head back inside.
I went upstairs looking for Colin so we could get set up for remote school for the day. He answered from the corner that he was doing some reading time before school. Yes, there is a book in there with him. No, I didn’t post the photo upside down.
There’s always something to work on. Laura is refinishing and repairing the Deacons Bench from the front hall and Colin is putting a layer of paint on his dragon.
