It was a lovely day for a bicycle ride to St Kilda pier, which included a stop for ice cream before returning home.

Dance exam
Laura had her RAD Grade 5 performance awards exam today. She was a bit nervous while getting ready this morning but was feeling good afterward. She thinks it went really well.
Couch tent
Colin really wanted to camp out last weekend, but it was tipping down rain and below 5 degrees.
Cliff cleverly built a tent over the couch in the playroom and Colin happily camped out in there overnight.
Coconut Cockatoo lost and found.
Colin took his Cockatoo friend Coconut to school on Friday. Unfortunately she was nowhere to be found at pick up time at the end of the day. After a long weekend excursion for her at school she was found on Tuesday hiding behind a bookshelf in the classroom. Colin thinks she ended up there after having such a busy weekend she needed somewhere quiet to sleep.
Laura learning footy from the neighbor
Laura spent some time this weekend playing with Chloe from next door. She was teaching Laura how to bounce a football properly.
Mid term break
Kids were off on midterm break today. They were both excited when the postman arrived with new kiwi crates for them!
Archers
What’s the collective noun for archers? Colin shot really well alongside 2 other kids today.
Future mechanic?
Laura helped fix a turn signal yesterday and learned all about the electrics inside a vehicle.
Pogo!
Colin is getting very good on the pogo stick. Looking back on my photos, it would appear he only pogos with his eyes closed – or maybe I was just that poor at timing my shots!
Old school Atari gaming
This past weekend we pulled out the ATARI for some gaming.
