Laura and I spent the night in Fredericksburg before dropping her off at camp today. It’s a charming little town with one very important place to check out.
We made apple pie for Father’s Day. Guess which part the kids like the best?
Laura got her haircut for the summer, to make it lighter and easier to manage. She had a lot of hair come off!
Who is that in the chair? When did she get so grown up?
Sarah and I performed in a dance show this past weekend. It was fun to take a day to do this amongst all the crazy move things going on right now. We had a good time.
Colin: I need a bowl for water
Parent: why? It’s 5 minutes before supper.
Colin: my stepping stones are dirty
Parent: pick one from the cupboard.
Now we have clean stepping stones.
Laura will be learning to ride horses this summer at camp and needed boots. We have tried on many this week. Showing her true English heritage, she much preferred the paddock boots to any of the cowboy boots she tried on.
